Landon Young OT 2nd year

6'7 330lbs out of Kentucky 1st team all sec

Loved the pick at the time and his rookie camp.

You can see and hear a pro's pro here... 2022 day 3 interview

Really really great interview to listen to. Played LT in college so he will have the ability to play both RT and LT to some degree for us moving forward.

I mean, I love that he’s progressing so well, but where’s he gonna play? We just drafted a big LT in the 1st and have a pretty good RT in Ram. Is he too tall to move inside and play guard?

He can be the extra offensive tackle on obvious run downs.

Great interview. This is a good problem. With the injuries that accumulate through the season to have someone flexible to play both sides is a huge plus.

He seems to be a tackle only at this point. Said as much in the presser.

If he is that good, we will find a spot for him. Either that, or trade him for serious consideration. If we all know his potential, the scouts from every other team do

Peat is the same size. Don’t see why he couldn’t play guard. I think he just hasn’t done it.

Ideally would be nice if Hurst was able to slide over into guard since he has done it and plays well there and man the tackle spots with Ram, Penning, and Young.

Hmmmmmmm

Well all one can ask is that Marrone finds the best 5 and plays them no matter their contracts or feelings.

He may start over Penning.
