I did some research into this two months ago (Nov. 12th). Here are the two posts that I made in a thread on MSB.

quote:

Brees’ Career as a Saint in Outdoor Games (including playoffs)

Yards per game: 293 (best since 2006)
Comp pct: 67% (best since 2006)
Passing TDs per game: 1.9 (4th)
*minimum 20 outdoor games played

Keep in mind all of these are road games for Brees as well. I could extrapolate the outdoor road numbers for all QBs for those interested.

This dataset is comparing Brees to other “tGOATs”

quote:

Outdoor road games (includes playoffs and Super Bowls) since 2006

Minimum of 10 games (NFL ranks on the left)

Passing yards per game
1. Brees: 293
3. Peyton: 280
4. Brady: 274
15. Rodgers: 251

Completion percentage
1. Brees: 67%
5. Peyton: 65%
15. Brady: 63%
25. Rodgers: 61%

Passing TDs per game
1. Brady: 2.0
2. Peyton: 1.93
3. Brees: 1.91
8. Rodgers: 1.75

Of course the ranks are a little different from the Brees ranks above because this takes in everybody’s outdoor road games.

I haven’t updated the numbers yet, but I can if anybody wants them out of curiosity (doubt there are any major changes though)
