The stats they chose, really feels like they cherry picked. I'd like to see common metrics like W/L, TD/G, yards/g, etc. My guess is there's a reasonable drop off, but many QBs have decent home/road splits.

Those stats you mentioned aren't the best way to grade a QB. Win / Loss? Come on, mate - educate yourself. There's 50 other players (and 20 other coaches) who decides wins and losses over the course of a game

That's because you're not thinking critically.

Team W/L looked at as an individual stat is as low IQ as it gets.

Lol, I didn't say W/L was the end all be all. However, do you really think W/L splits over a 100 games isn't at least useful when comparing qb performance?

Please, go ahead and think Brees is the same on the road as home because PFF cherry picked stats for a graphic. I can guarantee you the people that wager significant money on it would disagree with you.

This is coming from someone who believes Brees home/road splits are overblown. However, while he's a good QB on the road, he doesn't compare to himself in the dome.

Guys like you are the reason advanced stats gets the rep it has. I can guarantee you that I have done more sports modeling and critical thinking than you have. No one stat is overly significant in something like QB performance, it's more about looking over all the numbers. And yes, being a position that has such power over the wins and losses of his team as a QB does. When comparing him to himself over a large enough sample and the same time period does a least provide some value in judging the performance of a QB.

Yet you're asking for a team stat to be applied to an individual. Lol

Dilfer > Marino cause his team won a super bowl. Lol

I'd just like to point out that the guy guaranteeing he's done more advance data analysis than someone else is the guy who said he wants to see W/L record, TDs, and Passing Yards as his top 3 stats to determine how well a QB has played.

lol I thought the same.

And for the record, Brees has been wayyyyyyyyyyyy better in a dome than outdoor this season, it's not even close.

Big... huge discrepancy in touchdowns on the road

Game comes down to points and points he doesn’t score outside the dome
