That's what I inferred from your previous post. FWIW, I've lived in 3 other countries, visited around 10 more and lived in 7 states. The rudest people I have ever ran across in my travels were in Worcester, Mass.

You misinterpreted what I said. I just wanted to get the point across that just because someone says "hi" or "hello" or refuses to say "thank you" and "please" does not mean that they are rude/terrible people. We, as southerners, do it because we have been taught to do through our rearing. Many times though southerners do not understand why others act the way they do because southerners are ignorant of societies outside of the ones they live in or associate with. I applaud you for going out and experiencing the world and our amazing country. But just because people are different than you does not mean they are bad. I am not saying that you feel this way either. You obviously have had bad experiences with Mass. people. Sorry for that but Louisiana fans are no better.
