I love the Saints and was so excited when they drafted Reggie----Every game, every play, every year I believed this is gonna be when Reggie finally plays to his potential. It never happened. And during the SeaHawks game I realized it never would.

Agreed. I have supported Regiie for a long time but for this kind of money, by now, he should be the kind of player who can take over and dominate a game. We have seen lots of good plays but only a few games where he has been an impact player. Will be intersting to see how the conract is renegotiated.

It's just confusing that people lay so much blame on Reggie for not being an "everydown back" when that's simply not what he is. He's a role player. Overpriced, maybe, but useful in certain venues.

I think the money issue is what really has fans so anti-Reggie. I hope he can re-structure his contract (a lot less money) so that he can stay. But yes, his value is more of a slot back, which means he really is not a true everydown back, but so what, he can still be a valuable asset to the team.

I just know that I have never seen a back that is so easy to tackle. Grab a shoelase and he goes down.

and the guy who taunted Brian Urlacher.

so you remember him as having one of the biggest plays in Saints history? The Saints missed a field goal on the next drive to tie the game after driving down the field on the Bears. I don't think Urlacher played harder in the NFC championship bc of Reggie

Dude, that wasn't even close to one of the biggest plays in Saints history. That play brought us within 2. And I don't care what you want to say, that play was a stupid, rookie player showing off to a veteran Hall of Fame player.

For the record, that action REALLY pissed off the entire Bears team and they outscored us 30-7 from that point on.
