Hell yeah

It’s not a Fairley veteran-contract-situation where there's guaranteed multi-millions that would have to be paid out even tho he's physically unable to finish his contract.

If Hurst plays anywhere from 1 to 4 years before he is forced to retire, you get the draft's best pass rushing DT for your Super Bowl run(s) for pennies & nickels.

He'd bring the middle disruption the Saints were hoping to add with Suh for a couple of years, only at a thrift store price.

I dont understand why we didn't take him in the 4th. Could have easily gotten Leonard in the 5th and Hurst literally had a 1st round grade on him. Heart condition or not, snagging a player of that caliber in the 4th is an easy choice. If he plays, he could have made our Dline possibly the best in the NFL.

Im outraged that we took Leonard so early and over SEVERAL better OL. BUT I cannot question the Saints when it comes to drafting OL

You can question this year. Last year was an insane draft, but this year they seem to have regressed and are reaching.
Previous years the Saints would trade up for players that did not turn out to be worth the price.
