You much watch the Weather Channel a lot. this thing is so over-sensationalized its rediculous. Not even a hurricane.

I miss prekatrina days. Katrina was the one and only storm me and my parents ever evacuated for. And we didn't leave till Sunday afternoon. 8 years ago a storm like this would have been 1 maybe 2 days of school closures and a blurb on the news the night before. Not 3/4 days of school closures and a week of 24hr nonstop coverage. did anyone see Billy Nunguesser (sp?) on fox news?

It's a damn Tropical Storm. If the Superdome can't handle a TS then it needs to be burned down. Because it is obviously worthless.

Give him a pass guys. He's from Arizona. He probably thinks a TS actually means something more than a reason to take off of work and drink.

In short oak, this storm is actually pretty small and should do limited damage compared to big storms like Gustav and Katrina.
No worries!

No I am from Baton Rouge. The army has me in Arizona. I was there for Gustav and Katrina. Even went to some of those miserable Saints games in Tiger Stadium...And Isaac was a hurricane when it hit land, by the way.
