I've realized something over the last day

After what I thought was a disappointing season this year for the Saints; I think I've found enough joy in the fact that the Falcons have choked in the biggest way and biggest game (for them) ever. Enough joy to make me forget of our shortcomings and look forward to next year. I don't think I'm in the minority when I say: I'd rather be 7-9 than blow a 25 point lead in the Super Bowl!

I'm also more optimistic about next season than I have been the past few seasons. We finally have some actual cap room to work with and we're coming off a solid draft. A good free agency and draft this offseason will put us in the playoff picture.
