There were only 14 DEs that had 10+ sacks last year. The only ones that have had 10+ sacks each of the past 3 years (Turner's career) are Garrett (1st overall), Reddick (13th overall) & Bosa (2nd overall).
I am not saying we shouldn't expect more out of our 1st rounders, or that they should offer him anything more than a 1-year deal in that $10-13M range if he has a great season. But demanding 10 sacks a year to be considered a 1st rounder is a little lofty. Hell, (I'm sure you saw this coming) I don't think anyone would argue that Cam hasn't earned his 1st round pick, and he's only had 10+ sacks in 6 of his 13 seasons. Of course he shows up every week, but that's not the debate here.
