Payton interviewing Brees after the game: "great win Drew but you should have probably run Blue niner choctaw kill kill and made your life a whole lot easier on that last drive...in fact if that situation happens again I'd run Blue niner choctaw kill kill...just a suggestion"

Brees: "thanks coach"

Payton: "thanks for the interview Drew"

I think you totally missed the whole idea of an on set analyst.

I just think he'd be setting himself up for a violation.

I read the guide lines today and they are very very strict apparently.

If he's there to make on set appearances, they ask him a few questions about some games, this or that... I don't see an issue. He's not going to be doing interviews or anything of that nature and i'm sure everyone will be aware of do's and don'ts.

We shall See. I hope he does something like that so we can hear his voice and see him during the year.

I'm completely ok with him not being some type of analyst. Stay out of harms way. Goodell is gonna be on him like Paddy on Twitter.

don't get all butthurt because somebody else made a shitty joke

on set analysts break in and interview guys from the studio all the time...its usually when the player is in the locker room or about 30 mins after the game

We need a CSP sticky for the season I think.

As to those who wish CSP to communicate with the team via whatever means.
No Goodhead can't stop it.
But he needs no proof to punish CSP further or the team.

Let me say again if Goodhead thinks CSP was getting around his punishment he can/will take action.

The NFL is a private club not a court of law. The 32 owners signed off on giving Goodhead the powers he wields. 31 teams would love for the Saints to suck however it came about. Its what they grew up with!

I would rather CSP have no communication with the org. at all or on TV. JMO.

For now, Brees isn’t even under contract. He’s not an employee of the Saints or any other NFL team.

Brees and Payton are having secret meetings and that's why he hasn't signed yet

The Regulars do but Obviously that wouldn't fall under Payton's duties.
