The hit out of bounds on the Saints was completely lame.

I think you are talking about the play where McCray lit Farve up after the handoff and the Ref mistakenly called the foul on a hit out of bounds. But the penalty was on McCray.

I haven't watched anything else but replays of that game for the past three days.

Why dont you people wanting to say the hit was a penalty go back and look at the play?!? The DL that went low did so because the OL pushed him low. He didnt intentionally go for the knees. In fact, the hit was very minor. It was more of a grab at the legs and then the guy up high forced him into the guy down low. This was not and should not have been a penalty.

And did you see the hit on Brees in OT ????
It was the EXACT same hit that Hargrove made on Farve. (picking up and throwing him down and landing on top).

I didn't see this until I watched the replay. Drew's helmet almost came off from the impact.
And he didn't whine to the refs or roll around on the ground like a little bitch. He just jumped up and did his job. Maybe that's why he didn't get a flag?

on the high low...if the vikings right tackle does not entend his hands to block on the play...it results in a high high hit...but since he extended and pushed the saint it was a high low

what ever happened to them just playing football just like they are being paid millions of dollars. this isnt two hand touch or flag football. there are gonna be hits that are low and some that are high. yes i agree you want to protect these players but hits like those are gonna happen. get up and get back in the huddle and play the next play.
