Joe Burrow is the consensus pick for the Bengals.
NFL mockdraft database has about a thousand mock drafts saying Burrow will be the #1 pick by the Bengals.
NFL Draft Value Chart
The value of the #1 pick is 3,000 points this year.
Total value of every Saints pick for 2020 equals 911 points. It would likely take every pick this year and next year which still probably would not be enough.
You’d probably have to trade every pick this year plus Lattimore or Kamara or Thomas or someone like that.
None of this is happening. Let. It. Go. We can all like Burrow and be huge fans of his. But it’s not happening. Come to grips with it.

I love Joe but this is not possible

Please for the love of God, make it stop

all that, plus the Bengals are notorious for overrating their assets. So It would probably take 4000 points worth to get the #1 pick

0-win Bengals definitely need that HOF QB about to retire to get over the hump

Nah let Joe go home
Unless he has a monster combine Justin Jefferson will still be around when we pick. Would be more than happy with that

I know he’s not eligible this year, but J. Chase will be a stud. An absolute stud. He will be the next A.J. Green IMO.

Burrow is certainly more potentially valuable than a running back like Ricky Williams. It is very likely that Burrow will see big success in the NFL but there are no sure things in this league. He can be successful but would have to be first ballot hall of fame to make up for losing more than an entire draft and even then wins may be scarce with no ability to build around him.
Add to that the number of players the Saints have drafted over the years with lower pics with whom they would not have had a successful run under Payton and the point values have less value. If you include only 4th round or lower Payton has brought in Carl Nicks, Zach Strief, Marques Colston, Jermon Bushrod and others. Drew Brees is going to retire as the most prolific passer in NFL history. DO you think he sniffs a Superbowl without that supporting cast?

It is a good draft year for the Saints to need a WR. Seems like a lot of intriguing choices will be there even in the 2nd round.
