I feel he is a boom or bust prospect. I fear the latter, unfortunately. Like most, I hope I am wrong.

Mingo was always a better 3-4 outside backer prospect from the day he left HS. LSU needed him at DE due to the system. Because the assignments for a 4-3 end and 3-4 olb are so different, his stats weren't what we expect for his NFL position. There were so many LSU games that Mingo's assignment in the game was not to pressure the QB from his end position. Then the Clemson game comes along and the staff just turned him loose. Clemson had no answer. If he doesn't leave the game in the 2nd half, LSU wins going away. I feel Mingo's best days are ahead.
