re: Hire someone already

We take all this time and we continue to mess it up, just hire someone already, it’s pretty obvious Gayle n Mickey are gonna screw it up. Come on Gayle, get rid of him, he’s screwed up enough, don’t you screw up to! Frustrated

So what exactly is your rush ?????

This is not college ball, there is no recruiting to do. The draft is not until end of April, the combine is end of February . The league year is like mid March.

What is the hurry?


There are 32 of these head coaching jobs in the NFL and plenty of guys want to be head coaches.

Still have teams in playoffs. I would not mind interviewing their coaches.


If it was my team and I am managing a billion dollar franchise, my butt on the line as GM, I would want to make sure I interview as many as I can.

I'm not worried about the other teams hiring practices.

I want to find a guy I can work with, that wants to come here, even if it's not this year's hot new coach or a well known former head coach.
