Goodell's Erratic Decisions

For years I've years watched Goodell discipline guys randomly with seemingly no rhyme or reason to his punishments:
1. Goodell gave Big Ben a six game suspension (later shortened to four) despite Ben never being arrested, charged or indicted, only accused of sexual assault. At the same time, Goodell only gives a one game suspension to Seattle's Leroy Hill who actually got arrested for breaking the law with marijuana possession. Later Goodell suspends Jim Tressell for 7 games becuase he was aware while at his last job that his OSU players traded in their championship rings for tattoos.
2. Goodell suspends Ravens CB Cary Williams for two games for an off-the-field family incident that he was never arrested for (occurred when he was on another team, the Titans, btw) then reasons the same two game suspension is equitable for Ndamukong Suh for a dirty on-the-field player stomping that was televised across the nation.
3. Goodell gives the Eagles' Mike Vick a 6 game suspension (later shortened to 2) despite Vick already having served his time to society (18 months) for crimes that occurred when he was a Falcon, and then hands Terrelle Pryor a 5 game suspension for accepting a free Nissan 350Z, and because Pryor autographed posters of himself for money when he was in college at tOSU.
4. Goodell suspends Sean Payton for a whole year as a figurative scapegoat because he was the Saints "leader", and yet the Pats "leader" Bellichick got no suspension whatsoever post Spygate.
5. Goodell maliciously & irresponsibly attacks the reputations of Vilma, Smith, Fujita & Hargrove then hands out various suspensions based on ultra-weak handwritten notes & slides that technically should equally implicate Harper, Greer, Remi, and Shanle who received no suspensions & never had their reputations attacked.
I always wondered when Goodell would get sued for his inconsistent & unfair hammerings, and thankfully Vilma is finally challenging one of Goodell's random & unreasonable decisons. With all the power the NFL has & all the legal advice at Goodell's disposal, why has Goodell gotten away with his erraticism for so long?
I'l tell, you why. Goodell is unqualified for the job. The dude's only degree is a BS in Economics and has worked his way up through the company ranks since he won his NFL internship through a letter-writing campaign. He borrowed prestige from Rozelle & Tagliabue (because he has worked for the NFL during both era's) and won the Commissioners job. Now that he has the power, power corrupts, and like any corrupt autocrat, they decide & say what they want without reason. This is a guy who has a background in finance but arrogantly pretends to be a legal expert. He's the mail-room boy who finally got a high position. Roger Goodell is the NFL's Kenny Wilkerson.

I be honest, I think the fans should sue. If you think the fans are the ones who are going to get bounty screwed. Just think the media and the nfl said it was bounty, now fans from the other teams will be more hostile towards our fans when we go to the games away from our stadium. I have a strong feeling that there will be more fights cause they think in there mind that our team put bounties on their favorite players. Rodger just put a bounty on all saints fan. I think that along is a lawsuit for nfl for putting fans safety in harms way.

All sorts of fail right there.

Goodell has reached his level of incompetence. If you remember the book from many years ago. He fits the mold.
