I'm not so quick to put the blame on Drew (pick 6 right before the half not withstanding.) We cannot expect to be superhuman every game. I understand the score, but two pick6's didn't lose the game yesterday.
I think they did. That first pic six was completely unnecessary, completely stupid, illogical, terrible, killed momentum and led directly to the second one. The second one was a simple accident, could have happened to anyone, the first one was Drew Brees's fault. I assure you he feels the same way and he will annihilate Atlanta to make up for it.

But the offense played poorly. The playcalling was subpar.
I agree. Little Petey gets some blame from me as well.
frick how this season started. We turned it around and we are in the playoff hunt now. The time for bullshite and excuses is over. The time for accountability and adjustments is now. I know this team has what it takes to win out. frick we are 5-2 since all the pieces except for Payton came back. We can obviously get it done. So i will hold the oline, the offense, and the OC responsible for that game and i will be excited when they show me they have learned from their mistakes in the ATL game.

It makes no fricking sense. I honestly hate Pete Carmichael as a OC. He is failing miserably right now with adjustments, playcalling, personnel choice, etc...
PT might be nicked up for all we know, and Ivory and Ingram have been handling the load pretty well. I think had we stuck to the running game a little more it would have started to break open.. but after that 9 minute drive and being behind so far.. it's hard to justify running it and losing time on the clock. But it definitely wasn't Petey's best night as a playcaller. Let's face it, nobody in the business is quite as good as Payton.
