Get serious. This game is measured in fractions of a second. Donald was doing his job of going after the QB. You can hardly target a thumb.
If he wanted to intentionally injure him, he'd have just dove for his knees.

You realize he was being held, brees’s hand was moving 90 mph, and Donald was moving to the side of him right?
