Stupid.

A good kicker is a reliable kicker. Hartley is not reliable.

you point to someone that you think would be more reliable at this point and I'll gladly concede.

I'll throw out the fact that he won the 49er game and sent us into overtime.

thank you, but it wasn't really necessary.

Graham lost his job by missing 2 FG's to lose a playoff game. I believe it was an outdoor game in a breeze winter day. I think he'd do well in the dome.

how quickly people forget. It has been less than a week since Hartley won the game for us, and he is the reason we were even in overtime to begin with. Maybe the coaches should have ran the ball on first down instead of rely on a 30 yard not centered. And to say the San Fran kick was pulled is ridiculous it was tipped at the line you can't see the trajectory of that ball that early.

According to NBC's Peter King, the Saints will audition free agent kickers this week after Garrett Hartley missed a potential game-winning 29-yard field goal in overtime Sunday.
Hartley was clutch during the Saints' Super Bowl run last year, but his leash got a bit shorter when he blew two field goals in the NFL opener two weeks ago. The Saints will reportedly work out veteran consultant John Carney this week. Other free agents include Shayne Graham, Kris Brown, and Matt Stover.
