Goddamn Lester, you sum it up here.

Dude first off...THIS was a BS spread set up by Vegas.
The 49ers are a great team that beat teams ACROSS the country; most folks tend to forget about that...I just don't understand why the Saints were the favorites.
As far as your assessment on this being a great regular season team I find it kind of hard to compare them to most other teams considering they have only RECENTLY been regulars in the playoffs.
As far as I’m concerned YOU have no idea what you are talking about!

Saints have lost two years in a row in the playoffs to a team that was the underdog

Bobby absolutely lives in his own dream world. He's probably convinced himself he's the reason they won in the Mora era.

It's a shame to waste such a good season again
this.... yeah, i get the whole "the saints bring a lot of joy to NOLA" and shite, but i'm all about the championships....
i don't know about ya'll, but i don't want to go back to chopped liver after having filet mignon.... but that's kinda what it feels like...
like i have said many, many times.... we should all be past the "nice" seasons where we get all giddy because we won double digits wins and got to the playoffs.... by now, we should EXPECT to be there.... every season, no matter how great it looks or seems, without a championship is a total WASTE.... we only have a couple of more seasons with one of the greatest QB's of his era, along with some dynamic playmakers at his disposal... after that, who knows.... we very well could go back to the dark ages with no chance at the playoffs, so we need to capitalize EVERY SEASON that we can, and losing to teams like the Rams this season, then laying eggs in the playoffs like we have the last 2 years doesn't help our resolve....

The Saints had statistically the best QB season in NFL history, shite the bed against two bad teams on lost on basically the final play to the super bowl champs on the road in week 1 after a lockout.
This was not a "we had a nice year" team. This was a contender, a real contender.
They spotted a very good team a ton of chances on the road and allowed TWO game winning drives against a below-average offense. Really crappy way to end and a total wasted opportunity for greatness.
