I think Bush's issue was anatomical. He just has thin legs and couldn't hold up to shoestring tackles well. Look at his lower body compared to someone like sproles. In college that half extra step to the corner allowed him to avoid contact that he couldn't in the NFL.

Good player just not strong enough below the waist.

Yep. He really didn't have a football body at all(especially for a RB), but he produced b/c he was the best athlete on the field.

College defenses just didn't have an answer for his overall athleticism.

I guess it just depends on what kind of player you want, but as a rookie...I'd give the edge to Kamara

Kamara has played 4 fricking games

Bush caught 88 balls for 742 yards his rookie year

Yea, that was his strength. He also looked like shite running the ball as a rookie(I think his best season running the ball was with the Dolphins). Kamara is on pace for 80 receptions with less PT. Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I gave a fair assessment of the 2. I didn't dog Bush in any way. He was a legit player in the league for a long time.

I basically compared the 2 from their rookie years. Bush got better as the years went by, & I assume Kamara will as well.

As opposed to Bush's 16 games as a rookie. It is possible to get a good idea from 4 games.
