It is an advantage for them because they play a more ground and pound game as opposed to our style of play which is successful on a fast track like turf.

It seem likely to me that the Bears did not tarp the field during the recent rain because they wanted a slow damp mushy field.

That's a strong indication that you are correct and the idiots saying "bears play on the same field" are incorrect.
