and a point i have to the falcons fans that come on here - if ATL is so great and unbeatable, then why the hell do they almost lose to the Raiders? that team is a joke, and opted to get carson palmer at QB - that should pretty much sum it all up.

Don't understand the Dungy hate! The guy basically is a "gentlemen"! Everyone has there faults, but this guy has done nothing wrong. Who knows what happened with his son, it was tragic, but not a reason to dump on the man. This guy is or was basically a great defensive minded coach that put together a great team in Tampa before Tampa's front office screwed him by shoving him out the door and bringing in Gruden to take his place in winning a Super Bowl. Since then Gruden did absolutely jack shite and basically ran the team down afterwards.
Dungy basically dusted himself off from being run over in Tampa and moved on to Indy and Peyton Manning and built up another winner that got him his first Super Bowl that he should have gotten in Tampa. If it's one thing I don't like about Dungy is that he is too "nice" a guy. His bible, all american good guy image is a lil bit too much sometimes. But other than that the guy is a good guy, so if he says the Falcons are shite, I take notice!

Indy was all Peyton before Dungy brought the defense up to a level to match the offense that finally got them over the hump to win a Super Bowl. Building a D just like he did in Tampa, Tampa just didn't have enough patience and rushed the man out before he could win the Super Bowl which I think happened the following year.

Because I feel like 99% of the things he says are just recycled typical media banter. I've never really known him to have any original or insightful thoughts during the SNF pre-show. This is probably one of the first intriguing thing I've heard from him.
You might say oh, well you think that just Bc he finally said something good about the Saints. Well, you'd be wrong because I've thought that for a few years now. He basically just goes with whatever the current media hype is, never really sticks his neck out for anything. He's sort of just there.
