Spoonie u don't even bother to defend your own positions and instead wait for others to make your arguments for you.

You are a troll and a shitty troll at that.

No need to really defend anything. You haven't brought anything worthwhile, besides "well you don't know any details of the deal, so you can't really speculate on it."

Yep. Anyone that disagrees with a posters view is automatically a troll.

ETA: I guess you're just as much a troll as I am.

seriously, frick him. if hes gonna bitch bc he's making $18 million instead of $22, then let him fricking go. I hate tom brady, with a passion, but i respect that man bc He's not even in the top 10 highest players in BOSTON...and do you know why? bc he realized that its better to spread the wealth but make it to the big game than being greedy.

Brees has so many national commercials: Chase, Vicks, Pamper's, owns freaking jimmy johns. How much more money do you fricking need? well if he would stop knocking up his wife, maybe he wouldn't need to be so greedy. We won us a super bowl, awesome, but like they say...what have you done for me recently? That $5 million hes being a bitch about could go towards colston, or nicks, or whoever else.

Nope. You'll notice I have not called VOR a troll once even though I disagree with him as well.

tom Brady signed a contract making him he highest paid player 2 years ago and has made far more money than Brees in his career. congrats on not knowing what you are talking about. he has national commercials, a wife who makes more money than he does, and still demanded what he was worth. you know why? Because it is business

and brees put up one of the greatest seasons by a qb, very recently

Can he do that again with a team crippled by the cap?

You've taken a page out of Chads book of trolling, except Chad at least defends his position, albeit with circular logic.

I said BOSTON, not the PATRIOTS....thanks for showing me your great reading comprehensions.

and Manning and Bradford make more than brady.. Garnett(Celtics) makes $18.8 a year, Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics $19.8 million)
Ray Allen (Boston Celtics $19.75 million)

Define crippled? Right now crippled looks like no Nicks and Colston.

Even if Drew were to play for the franchise tag I doubt that we would re-sign Nicks. On the open market he is going to get PAID. Saints probably can't match what he gets, so looks like we were planning to replace Nicks regardless of Drews contract value.

In his defense no one with a brain would think you would involve players from different sports in a salary comparison.

Brady was still the highest paid player in the NFL at the time his last contract was signed. So dont go overboard with the whole he spreads the wealth thing.

you are the idiot crossing sports. tom Brady demanded a new contract a few years ago and got the greatest one in the NFL. he plays in the NFL, drew Brees plays in the NFL, the NBA doesn't mean shite.

drew Brees was making less than every other good qb over the last few seasons. quit being such a pussy

my argument was overall, not just one sport. but apparently you can't read for shite so now youre just trying to back peddle.

What has anyone countered with except, "you don't know the dtails of the contract, so you can't say anything about it." ?

also, I already changed my terminology about Drew "bitching"

So you're changing your position because you're too lazy to defend it? Ok.

I knew exactly what you were trying to say. It doesn't change the fact that he demanded a higher contract and. didn't give his team a discount despite having more endorsements than drew, more money made in the NFL than drew, and a much richer wife than drew

What sense does it make to include all sports when comparing salaries?
