Shockey is an alright TE for sure, but he IS NOT a good blocker dumbass. And he only plays half the season because of injuries. He has been a jackass since college, Shocker froma MIami player.
And even when he plays, he limps around after every fricking play and plays about a third of that game.
Good when he's healthy and happy, niether one happens too often though.

Agree....although that catch he made in the Cards game on one leg was interesting enough. He's never been real healthy for sure. At least you get the point to not go to get something signed from someone you hate. Kudos on that.
I honestly don't remember saying Shockey was a good blocker, but ok.

I don't hate him, I disapprove of his personal conduct. THat's it.
On the field, he makes some great catches. He drops alot also and is not a good blocker.
So, our TE is often hurt, misses much of the action, when he's in he's a threat but has to be supplemented for blocking, and leads a less than desired personal life that often brings the team down. Not respecting him does not bring hatred, but I do HATE when the Saints are looked upon negatively by a player who will not be here next year, IMHO!
See, I think that deep down us taking that TE pick in the draft thouroughly pissed him off and he now doesn't even give a shite more than before. He knows that means one more year and then he has no place here, IMO.
So yes, I get real pissed off when I hear of negative shite from him and I will never understand why it's worth $50 to get his sig and wait in line to get it.
