As I said, he's a gormless twonk.

Halfway through the season, Colston is second in Defense Adjusted Yards Above Replacement (DYAR) and fourth in Defense Adjusted Value Over Average (DVOA).

The first is a cumulative stat, the second is a rate stat. So we have another set of metrics that show that the other poster has no idea of which he is writing.

"Gormless twonk" is a somewhat redundant insult, as "gormless" means "lacking intelligence or stupid", and "twonk" is a British slang for "idiot".

UD is funny about it, though: LINK

If you two are going to come in here and throw insults and put words in my mouth, then I will have to refrain from taking part in our discussion any longer.

No shite. I said this. Good job with selective quoting and post reading

No, he wasn't. Henderson caught the ball fairly well in 2006 and 2008. 2007, however, he couldn't catch a cold.

How the frick do you go on living with a selective memory that only focuses on the negative?

So you are saying henderson in previous years was as good or better than colston? Because that was my whole point, that colston is better than henederson was.

As for selective memory, the guy had a reputation for dropping the ball ok. So dont act like I pulled that out of my arse.

Recall that he had 4 this week, and since one list that I saw of the top drops stops at people with 5 drops all season...

Just because it isnt a drop, doesnt mean it isnt a ball he shouldnt catch. Especially when Im pointing this out

I say should have caught cuz he catches balls that are even more difficult to catch than the ones he drops.

Colston has dropped a few, but he is absolutely the money target on this team.

No, you said that Henderson was "consistent", which he certainly was not.

Don't try to change the argument...

You claimed that THIS SEASON, he has had multiple games where he has dropped passes that he should have, similar to the game that he had Sunday.

If you were a MAN, you would admit that at the least, you chose your words poorly.

I'll give you the opportunity now to MAN UP and admit that you made a mistake.

nah, his hands arent very good. every since his injury hes had drop issues. end of last year and all this year.

people just forget because everyone loves colston

eta: to clarify they arent very good compared to how much people like to claim they are. Especially when it comes to some of the easier catches.

This is exactly what you said.

You straight up said that dude has "drop issues" all this year, which means that you believed that in games 1-7, he dropped several passes. This is patently false, as I illustrated in an earlier post.

NOW BE A frickING MAN AND ADMIT YOU'RE WRONG.

That had nothing to do with the argument. You are telling me to not try to change the argument back to what it originally was. I never brought up henderson in the first place.

Please, point out all of his "drop issues" from "all of this year".

In other words, please point out his numerous drops from weeks 1-7.

Its not a mistake and it isnt poorly worded. He has had multiple games this season where hes dropped passes that he should have caught.

However i never claimed that any of them were as bad as how he performed sunday which was clearly his worst performance.

THEN POINT THESE DROPS OUT.

If your claim has ANY merit, then Colston would be among the league leaders in drops.

So you need to do one of two things:

1) Produce a list where Colston ranks among the league leaders in drops.

2) Or produce evidence of his MULTIPLE drops in MULTIPLE games THIS SEASON.
