This is the crux of the matter. And you said it very simply and well. I hate that this has happened, but SP is the head coach, was given a chance to make this right, didn't, lied, and now pays the price. Accountability is a B!tch, ain't it. But grown ups in responsible positions like an NFL HC are accountable for what their team does or doesn't do. I hope in this year off that SP learns his lesson and comes back a much better and more humble coach who immediately leads his team to a Super Bowl championship (without bounties or other undesirable practices).

Is anyone talking about how season ticket sales went out a few days before the decision, basically solidifying that the NFL was to secure those tickets?

Maybe if fans didn't buy some this means better chance to make the list!

Who made bank on the qb from S.F in the play-off game? I seem to remember he ran like forty yards for a td. BOUNTY! BOUNTY! wtf.
