All these gloom and doom posts. We are still in it. Look at the league parity.

Even at 2-4 we are still in the thick of it. Twenty three of 32 teams with no more than 3 wins currently.
Four of the eight division leaders are all at 3 wins. We would be one of them if not for the last 2 minute meltdown against the Bengals. Our biggest issue all season has been injuries (particularly starters) yet we have been in every game except Tampa right to the end. We need to get this win tonight to take advantage of this long break afterwards to get some of these other starters back on the field. Tampa Bay is on a downward spiral. Atlanta beat a 49ers team that turned the ball over 3 times and the 49ers were missing 7 starters and Carolina is Carolina. It's not over by a long shot.

This team sucks. We have a bottom 5 starting QB. We should be tanking for a new QB at this point but we cant because we don't have a 1st round pick.

Have you looked around the league. Not an abundance of stellar Q.B.'s. We need someone to operate our offense(Winston or Dalton are capable.) and time for our starters to return. You want to tank this early in the season and everybody bunched up? This team hasn't quit. They don't suck . Tankers suck.

Being in it when you suck isn't good enough. We have set the bar higher than that.

Several other teams suck just as bad currently. You just have to suck less. Have you looked at our injuries? As soon as we get starters back we will suck less. With any luck the other teams will catch the injury bug. You have to play with what you've got. We'll get better.

I have never been much of a half empty fan but this team is not very good for a variety of reasons that we all know. The nfl as a whole this year is a poorly played league right now and the nfc...well any team can make the playoffs its so damn bad.
I have been on board with the win now mode we have been in since 06 and with us kicking the can down the road.
I don't want to do that any more. We need cap space and draft pics how ever it gets done

Don’t do this to yourself. Even if the Saints made the playoffs you can be certain they would lose in some gut wrenching fashion that no one could ever imagine.
