Last years team was flawed too, why don't people see that?

1) The lack of turnovers is replaced by teams not taking chances in their game plan, leading to less yards, leading to our higher defensive ranking. It isn't that this D is that much better than last years. Other than in the red zone, the goal line specifically, the D struggles to get off the field when it needs to, we won a championship with them, we can do it again.

You missed 2 bugger reasons of concern though. Tackling and special teams KILL us.

You def mask flaws, what are you talking about? Last years team was flawed. How many times did we fall behind last year? Watch the highlights. If you tackle better and play good ST, the Ds deficiencies will be masked. We will have the ball more, allowing us to get ahead so then we can run the ball and get 'balanced.'
