and no i'm not saying he should, nor that i want him to. He 100% shoudl not be playing back to backs. I'd say the same for a few guys on our team for the rest of the year regarding back to backs, not just Zion.
But if this was a normal season where we are a playoff team, then he's playign back to backs if that's what he wants to do. It's a real simple conversation in a league driven by stars doing whatever the hell they want, "either i'm playing, or you might as well trade me" is all he has to say.
We've seen Zion telling the team he wanted to play after the foot injury and he wanted to return earlier after the meniscus tear. IT WAS THE TEAM TELLING HIM NO. Even after being cleared for full contact, they still take baby steps.
As a player it SHOULD piss him off, and honestly we have no idea if he is because no matter what, he will always make it seem like he loves the organization. He's never said anything negative about his team or the staff or the coach, at least not directly.
We REALLY don't know if he has that level of control, but what we do know is that they denied him from playing twice in the past.
I do think he can just override their decisions without controversy, so maybe he chooses not to.
