Why doesn't Zion have confidence in his jump shot?

All he has to do is even pose the smallest threat to having a mid range game and he'll be practically unguardable. I don't understand why he won't shoot the mid range jumper teams are giving him everytime he touches the ball.

Zion said lately that he wants to shoot jumpers. He should start doing it. Only way he's gonna get better

Because SVG would need to incorporate plays/actions to get him some shots in rhythm. He should be running some pick and pop plays with Ingram or Bledsoe. Almost everything Zion is getting us pretty much off his his own creation.

If he wants to have any longevity in the league he needs to take more jump shots. Going hard at the rim 10 times a game is not sustainable.

Last night the Hornets were sagging harder than any other team I’ve seen this year and he still didn’t pull the trigger.
