It's expected. Playing Miami in preseason and playing our starters for a large part of the game allowed Miami to get a good feel for the Pelicans.

The team is going to have their up and downs on defense especially this early on in the season. It's to be expected. This is a process. Still a long way to go in this game. They have time to adjust and play better.

They gave up a ton of open shots to Toronto and they’re doing it again to Miami.

They're not doing a good job fighting through screens right now and it's allowing their guards to get into the key and opening everything up for Miami.

Well, when you get smashed by the screener, fall to the ground, and then the foul is on you, I’m not sure what our guys are supposed to think about how to play that
