Not the 76ers. I understand they are looking to clear some cap, but iggy is a solid starter/borderline all star. That trade is a robbery.

It's really not that bad.

Harden is a solid starter for almost every team in the league. He and Iguodala are about the same on offense, except for Harden is younger with hopefully a chance of improvement.

Iguodala is one of the best defenders in the league, so they would be losing something there, but Harden makes a third of the money that Iguodala makes currently. And Philly won't have to pay Iggy $14 and $15 million all the way through 2014.

Maybe they would have to receive one more player in the deal, but I don't think much more.

You think the scoring on our team last year was bad...

That team would be scoring 60 points a game. They would be abysmal offensively. GREAT defensively, but they wouldn't be able to throw the ball in the ocean.

If Westbrook can be a poor man's Rose, we'd score enough points. We'd have to have a spark plug 2 off the bench though.

Gets rid of a guy who might not want to be there that has an expensive contract.

If they are getting rid of Iggy's contract, then they won't take on Okafor's contract in return.

Okafor's contract isn't going anywhere.

Yea but the difference between Okafor and Spencer Hawes is way bigger than the difference between Iggy and Thaddeus Young or Evan Turner. Plus they are also a lot younger and cheaper.

I'm a James Harden guy too.

But really the lynch pen of any hypothetical Thunder-Hornets deal is Westbrook/Ibaka coming over.

Pipe dream...but holy shite the Hornets would be so much better with those two.

Sure, Iguodala is good, in that "I'm overrated but will never be better than a 19 ppg player" type of way.

Harden is slept on...dude can ball.

absolutely, that trade is almost too good though, and i'm sure Westbrook would demand a lot more than he's worth once his contract is up.
I think we either have to keep CP3 or get an immediate upgrade like Westbrook in return or else the fan base will completely lose all interest

Signed,

Ones like Harden are. He's a great passer, he's good going to the goal, his shot just needs to improve a little bit. He's only 21 years old. He'll end up being a better offensive player than Iguodala.
