Also, (& I'm not comparing their skillsets), but look at the jump that Missi has made on defense from last year to this year. He could always block shots, but he is generally in much better defensive position this year both on ball and in help. It takes a minute for bigs to learn how to play NBA defense.

If Queen can make a similar jump in understanding, can continue to hone his innate distribution skills(basically realizing when not to force passes), and 3 pt shooting (he's already pretty solid from the corner), I think he will be a dangerous big that can space, and that is a nice piece to have.

yeah imagine thinking a 19 year coming into the nba already having to be at peak skill level. if he's not all nba his rookie season he's a bust and can't improve any!

That's three 'ifs' in three sentences.

My eyes tell me all I have to know, I don't need any 'ifs'.

He is a ROOKIE so of course that there are plenty of 'ifs'. There we ifs with Jokic and Giannis as well, so it's up to DQ to develop the right attitude in terms of playing defense, further develop offense game, improve conditioning, etc.
Like LakeviewLemon said, just look at Missi imrpovement, especially in the last two months.
