yeah that shot is perfectly fine.
But that's an 8-10' shot.
There's a big difference between shooting from 8'-10' and shooting from 15'-16'.
I'd invite him to take all the 8' shots he wants when they are that easy. And he shoudl be able to make them that easy most of the time.
