Magic are so fricked. They'll have a Bobcats-esque season next year

They will be bad, but no where near that bad. They have some solid vets that have started for a long time (Nelson, Reddick, Afflalo, Turk, QRich, Harrington and Davis). I think they will be around 25 wins or so. Even when they start trading some of those vets for picks.

Yeah I know they won't set the record for lowest win percentage, but I'll be shocked if they aren't in the bottom 3. They have to be one of, if not the, least promising franchises going forward after this shite pile of a deal.

Yeah, there is no doubt about that. But I don't know what other options they had. The Houston deal would have been the best IMO, but they would have still be awful. They have to rebuild, so you have to start somewhere.

And I thought we got hosed in the Baron Davis for Dale Davis and Speedy Claxton trade without even getting at least a 1st (people say it gave us $ to go after free agents but all we did was overpaid for an aging Peja). There is no way they can justify this to the Magic faithful. I saw the Magic GM say they will have money to go after free agents like Carmello. Yeah, right.
