Talked to a couple of NBA guys about this and I can tell you they absolutely love playing for college. Especially ones where they can play with their AAU friends. They also love the games with the student section and just enjoying their “college” life. They felt like the “man” on campus. While going into the pros, they feel more pressured to provide good results from the start because of how much news articles are on them.

#1 prospect in the 2022 class Emoni Bates just decommitted from Michigan State. Good chance he's G League bound.
Top 30 ranked player Nolan Hickman just decommitted from Kentucky and seems like he could be G League bound to join two other top 15 players from the class.
I think this is going to become the norm within a couple of years for the top guys of their classes.

Probably for players which wanted to do "one and done"...
I very much doubt it for the others
The one and done rule is clearly a thorny subject...
G-League is only interesting for the one and done guys...Except if this rule will be deteled soon ?
