WSMFP starts 5 night residency at the world famous Beacon Theatre tonight

PSA - These shows are gonna hit harder than a backwood, ya heard?
5 straight nights of music means we will get some FTP's and some tunes will tumble off the shelf... what are you hoping to hear?
I'll be anxiously waiting for:
-This Part of Town
-Don't Tell the Band
-Coconuts (it's been a while)

I often chuckle to myself about this fact as well... The fact is, I'm from Louisiana so had neither baseball nor hockey in my home state. My favorite baseball player was Ryno and I watched pretty much every game on WGN. Harry Carry even wished me happy birthday while calling a game when I was a kid (I emailed in). So that solidified my Cub fandom. The Blues I just enjoyed watching play, and I liked their name. Since I'm not from Chicago, and never made it up there until 2017 NLCS, I don't have this deep rooted hatred for the city of St. Louis. Although I do hate Cards, but that's strictly through division rivalry.

I would also be happy to hear a Casa del Grillo... it's going to be interesting to see what they do. Coming off 4 nights in Mexico and now doing 5 nights. They will definitely have to get creative.

Should be a lock now that they play it every other run. The Bowlegged>Arleen>Drums>Arleen>Bowlegged from RR blew my mind. Also, got miracled into that show bc I got too spun with a lot lizard at the lake during the day and didn't buy a ticket then showed up late to buy one in lot but realized I forgot my wallet in my other pants at my campsite. Got in right as Dark Bar started from some employee that had an extra ticket and showed up late. Epic night. Nolaween Arleen was also gas. Great tune.

You ever get out and see Panic Stricken? Super nice guys and it's all Panic fam around ATX that show up. I was hesitant for the longest time to see them, but I convinced myself to go meet other Panic fans. Ended up meeting a really good friend there. He's the only one I'll go to shows with these days, as I mostly go to runs solo.
