Is their bass player Rob Riggle? Awesome.

Woulda been stonier to use the real audio though, didn't seem to jive with performance (on vid). I'd guess they were working without a net there live.

It was dubbed for an official music video. Of course they aren't going to use live audio from the top of a building. Although I'm sure the acoustics and mic'ing were phenomenal.

One of my favorite tracks of all time was done on a roof, decades ago. Not trying to compare bands, I like AAF.

I don't think so, but for the video they used the studio version of the song. otherwise it would have sounded pretty bad.
