There are many people on this board who love music, and follow it religiously, but alas, have no idea of music history and it´s evolution.

Roxy Music are gods. Absolutely no doubt.

this song got very little radio play as the second track following changes on Hunky Dory-I always fancied this a bit more

I understand. However, this album had some MASSIVE songs, and this is one which only a Bowiefile settles upon.

I would consider both ends burning one of the first 'watershed' new wave songs-

I mean it sounds like it came out in 1982 rather then 1975

They were bigger than Bolan or Bowie, for a while there. The market demanded it.
