Weezer HOF

What is the boards thoughts on Weezer? I always have enjoyed them, especially the Blue album. Their later stuff not so much as they seemed to be a little too pop.
With Green Day getting into the Hall does Weezer stand a chance. I would take them any day over Green Day but I don't think they have a chance of getting in.

the Blue Album is my favorite album of all time. it had a huge influence on me as a junior high kid when it came out and really helped shaped my musical taste. it was one of the best rock albums of the 90s and in my opinion really brought alternative "pop" rock to the mainstream. I don't really follow the Rock N Roll HOF and know criteria but their body of work has been as solid and influentjal as Green Day.
oddly enough Dookie is my second favorite album of all time. 1994 was a fricking awesome year for music.

Weezer is clutch I wish they got more attention.

if you put green day in the HOF, then why not weezer? I say put them in for blue album and pinkerton alone

Blue and Pinkerton are both perfect albums. After that, pretty sketchy.

I thought the Green Album was solid. Hell even Maladroit and Make Believe produced a few hits.
