Sorry bro, music appreciation is a very subjective thing. We all like what we like. I was fortunate enough to grow up in one of the greatest music eras ever. Believe me, the Jefferson Airplane of the 60's was 100x better than that shite. But, to each his own.

That's an interesting observation coming from the guy who sang "Riders on the Storm", possibly one of the most boring songs ever.

I gottcha. I hit all the concerts and clubs in the early 80's. Jefferson, to us, was Surrealistic Pillow, then "Jane". Then Red Octopus. To each his own my friend.

Well, what do you want me to do? Read that from the Sugarman book.

Sorry. I just remember driving around in my dad's V.W. bus with Morrison Hotel blaring. He dug Airplane,Tull, Zep and John Denver. Two tours in the Nam he was a tuff old bird. But he always got emotional after a 6 pack and listening to Baker's Street, The Night Chicago Died,or Harry Chapin's song.(Cats in the cradle). I thought he was made of iron and he was. But these songs made him human again.

I ate mushrooms and saw them on this tour. I feel like such a schmoe because i thought i was seeing 'Airplane' with all of the original members (which I was)...so I didn't know whether to feel disappointed or not...Gracie ruled!

Gracie and Marty.......you need to study this shite more.
Sorry, I hope you can see them in the light that I have.
A long time ago I asked a girl to my Prom based upon a Starship/Airplane song.
(HST always lusted after Gracie)
Have you ever listened to Hot Tuna? Jorma and Jack?
