Voice lessons/help

So my group plays pretty much weekly at a local spot. I can't sing worth a shite but do a song or two from time to time. I'd like to do more, but no one really wants to hear a goat caught in a bear trap.

Any suggestions where to get help? Online sources? In person (NOLA/NS area)?
