Violin for a 5 year old

My 7 year old daughter is currently taking piano lessons and is doing fantastic. We also have a piano in our home so she plays it all the time.
With that said, my 5 year old daughter is a little bit jealous. She isn't a fan of the piano and is begging to learn the violin. The wife and I both know next to nothing about violins.
Anyone on the board have advice on a decent youth sized violin? Is a 5 year old a little too young for lessons? I'm really wanting to get her into it because I'm just happy that she's showing interest in an instrument.

4/4 is for adults
3/4 teens
2/4 7-preteen
1/4 is for 3-7ish
Might wanna measure her arm and check with the google machine bc all kids are different. Also, renting a violin may be an options since kids out grow the quarter size fast (if she sticks with it of course).
All I can tell you is go the ebay or amzaon route that gets her a cheap yet decent one (cheap in case it she quits) one that comes with: rosin, a case, strings, and a tuner. I was able to find a Celio on ebay that came with all that.

Rent from Sola violins in Lafayette. The rental money can can be applied to purchase, and you can upgrade sizes as she grows. 5 years is the perfect age to start learning violin. Don't buy an Amazon cheapo violin, it is junk and not even fit for fire kindling.
