I read a while back that the new album was some huge 30-track beast that was supposed to be released this fall. Well...it's November. What happened? I can't seem to find any details.

Brother Sub, here's a live show from a few months ago, they play several new songs and Patrick mentions a few details about the new album.. they also perform an epic Everclear cover

Curious if anyone else preferred The Airing of Grievances to the Monitor? I recognize that the Monitor is a "better" work, but I listened to the Airing of Grievances way more.

And the music video could be pretty awesome. The video for "A More Perfect Union" was pretty awesome.

I liked The Monitor better. I'm kind of indifferent on Airing of Grievances and Local Business. Airing is a great, raw album, garagey sounding album. Local Business is just a really fun, jump-around kind of album.

The Monitor is my favorite TA album (it's my favorite album of the 10s), but I do really love The Airing of Grievances.
I'd give The Monitor 5 stars, AoG 4.5 and Local Business 4.
