This is a first for me.

This is a first for me. I was going through some old CD discs that had albums in MP3 format just now. Was listening to Joe Walsh - You Can't Argue With a Sick Mind, and the damn disk exploded in my computer !
Never seen that happen before.
Needless to say the burner is now toast.

I would have thought this would be more likely had it been Black Sabbath or AC/DC that I was listening to when it happened.

I saw that happen nearly twenty years ago. Best explanation i could dig up at the time was the disk had an imperfection and vibrated at the frequency/rpm to shatter.

my cd rom does 185, it lost its balance and now it don’t drive. sorry, that was funnier in my head.
