I see they are playing at the Saenger in January with the Four Tops. I'm interested in going to this show as I love the Temptations and like the Four Tops. In doing a little research to see who was left in the Temptations I found out they have had 12 former members die and they still have one original Temptation left. That is crazy!

I have seen the Temps and the Tops playing together numerous times dating back from the 1984 World’s Fair. They put on a fantastic show, although many of the main players are now deceased.

The only remaining original Temptation, Otis Williams, rarely if ever sang a lead vocal so his voice is not one you would associate with any of their hits. As for the Four Tops I believe there are only two remaining, and their true lead vocalist Levi Stubbs passed in 2008.

Damn. Eddie Kendricks died 30 years ago. What a voice he had.

Ruffin and Kendricks are my favorites. Ruffin is one of the best voices of all time.

Yea, the three main vocalists from the Temps are gone. ... David Ruffin, Paul Williams and Eddie Kendricks.

Even though Paul is credited in the Classic Five, I would say Dennis Edwards would be considered the third main vocalist or maybe say he is part of the four main vocalists.

I saw both of them together on tour this past spring. Although the groups are missing members all I have to say is GO! It’s a spectacular concert. The music sounds so good with the orchestra. The vocalists are top notch and very entertaining. It’s a style of music and showmanship that will not be around much longer.

Lot of magic came out of that little house in Detroit.

I saw them about 6 years ago at a cancer benefit in Little Rock.

I think they wore the same sequin outfits that they wore in the 60's.

I think they should rename the group the Temptation, since there is only one remaining member (and he moves slow).

Don't expect much.
