Anyone been to a show at it recently? How is it? Just ordered tickets for a show in May and got seats in the mezzanine.

Best venue in Nola imo.

Saw preservation hall do a late night show after jazz fest a few years back. Had some members Of my morning jacket join them.
Great time. Great venue.

I saw that on their website. Will definitely be getting tickets for that show.

I'm debating getting tickets for Jim Norton standup tour when he plays there.

Saw the Dandy Warhols there a couple months ago. Was really impressed by the Joy itself. It's a very nice venue. The mezz wasn't used that night, but from the floor it looked to have great views.

it does, standing in the mezz is sometimes frowned upon by the other concertgoers. but you can always walk down to the floor I think
