The bass line in Sympathy for the Devil
Defines the song IMO. I'd be exhausted after playing it.

The studio version

Sympathy for the Devil

The live 1969 version. Hells Angels, fricked up cro magnon man, naked chick trying to get on stage and Hells Angels taking on the crowd at the end and a dog walking across the stage. This video has it all.

Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil - Altamont

ETA: 50th anniversary of the Altamont performance is December 6.

The audio is from MSG. It's the cut from Get Your Ya Ya's Out.

The studio version

Keith Richards created and played the bass part on the original studio recording.
