Been awhile since I’ve spun this one but have been for the last few days. First release they put out after their second hiatus and I think it’s one of the greatest thrash metal albums ever written. Scar Spangled Banner, War Is My Shephard, and Blacklist is an hellacious 1-2-3 punch to start the album and it doesn’t drop off much from there.

Not a huge fan of the lyrical content of the opener and maybe one or two more, but I guess I can deal with that. I’ve typically been able to overlook that if the music is good.

Check it out if you haven’t or if it’s been awhile.

Great album. The old thrash bands actually did some good work in the mid to late 00's

True that. Exodus was not the only one by any means.

Bonded by blood album is my go to. Baloff could get his shite straight I think they bigger than Slayer. That album was a gamechanger that got delayed.

No doubt. It’s awesome. Matter of fact and fwiw, Scott Ian considers it the best debut of all the thrash bands that started up back in that day.

Me too brother.

I hate that Slayer has ended but I also hated that Exodus was basically on hiatus once Gary went full-time with them. Looking forward to finally seeing them again somewhere.
