I've heard Honey Island Swamp Band play a few times and I enjoyed it.

on the radio they mentions The Louisiana yard dogs as being a good band for those who enjoy classic rock.

Lost Bayou Ramblers is out of Lafayette and plays Cajun music with a newer sound I'd say.
They won a Grammy in 2018 which is pretty damn cool for a local group.
